Why are we merging .cc and .me?

As you may know, BonziWORLD.cc and .me are one of the most famous servers, and yesterday, me and donutscout agreed to merge, this will clear things up on why it happened, how it will look like and the foreseeable future of BonziWORLD.cc as it's own thing.

Why merge?

Because it means less competition, plus, I really liked BW.me, but if you compare .me to .cc, you can see more people advertise .cc, I am aware people will probably miss .cc as it's own thing, however, most use it for crosscolors, which .me offers

What about BWE stuff?

Reject that, porting lip sync, the styling and more (more like vibecode LELELELELEEL) broke alot of stuff, and reverting it kinda is not my thing, this means .CC/ME will NOT have BWE stuff, but that is not to say it won't be added in the future, but for now, it's a no go

What about the codebase?

For .cc/me, well, the merger itself will use .me, so you could say it TECHNICALLY is just .me with some bw.cc stuff sprinkled in here and there, however, as for .cc ON ITS OWN, don't expect it to come back, unless something goes and I will have to bring it back. And if it does come back, it will be called .cc again, and not .cc/me, but then again, I don't see why I would have to bring it back, but you never know

b... bu... but... what about open sourcing standalone .cc?

Well I don't care. For all I care it's so when it DOES come back I don't need to worry about further competition, but for now, I don't see the point in open sourcing it, and I don't want to deal with the drama that would come with it, so no, not open sourcing .cc standalone, and I don't see why I would have to open source it, but you never know, and also, .cc/me is gonna be pretty good, so I don't see why you would want to run .cc standalone, especially since 99% of users just come here for crosscolors, which WILL be included, but BW users are pretty wild so I don't really know

If Erik lets you co-own .gay and promote other kings, what about THAT?

.cc/me will still stay up lol

Final thoughts

Sooooooooooo the merger is probably one of the biggest in BW history since both .me and .cc are pretty huge, and I am pretty excited for it, I think it will be pretty good, and I hope you guys will like it, but if you don't, well, I don't care, but I hope you do like it, and if you have any questions about the merger, feel free to ask me or donutscout, but for now, I hope you are excited for the merger.
